Chemical Brothers - Hanna

Not so much a new Album but just the soundtrack to the movie. I havent seen the movie so dont know how it fits and its hard to cast an opinion because of that. In the movie it might seem like an amazing soundtrack. Its not quite as good as Further which for me was the best album since Come With Us. But thats not to say its bad. There are still some really good tracks on here in a typical Chemical Brothers style they will always get your foot tapping and head bobbing. Plus its nice to take in something different from the duo other than dance tracks made for rock fans. Certainly to be more enjoyed by some more than others. 7/10

Friendly Fires - Pala

I first caught a glimpse of these while watching the highlights of Glastonbury. And what a high point it was. There kind of a Indie Dance band of some sort or another if thats even a catagory. Comparable with the Klaxons but not completly different to some softer Chemical Brothers Tracks. So they seem to cover a wide variety of tempo styles but all of it is upbeat. The tempo of the whole album is fairly high which seems to be all good. The most poppy and catchy track is Hawaiian Air. Its hard not to like it with its feel good background sounds throughout the whole track. Album is well worth a few listens - 7/10
